Wine information
The after respect-BIODYN-The Pinot Gris was harvested by hand. In the winery, sorting was followed by a 24-hour maceration period with pre-clarification by natural sedimentation. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine was aged in stainless steel.
Color
intense straw yellow
Nose
The 2021s Grey Burgundy from Rebholz offers a successful finesse in the fragrance. Here, notes of yellow and red apples, pears and apple compote as well as some apple peel spread out. In addition, there are grated nuts and some smoke.
Palate
On the palate, this is a firm, almost pithy wine, but in a pleasant way. It plays with a light phenolic, which provides grip on the palate. Apples are again in play here, along with the skin and a slightly fruity-sweet component, which makes the wine very easy to drink. The acidity is clear and precise, but, in keeping with the grape variety, does not push itself to the fore.
