Information on the expansion
After harvesting the grapes, a 24-hour maceration period was carried out, followed by pre-clarification through natural sedimentation. The wine was aged entirely in stainless steel tanks.
Color
Bright sparkling golden yellow, delicate silvery reflections.
Nose
The 2018 Godramsteiner Münzberg Gewürztraminer beguiles on the nose with grapefruit, rose petals, hibiscus and lily of the valley oil. Its fragrant aroma is present, intense and at the same time elegant, playful and invigorating. Already in the nose, great joy arises, as this wonderful Gewürztraminer lacks any heaviness or even turgid impression.
Palate
On the palate, it fascinates with a freshness that reminds us of Riesling in structure and acidity, while at the same time we encounter typical exotic fruits, including mango and lychee. An extremely animating and dancing wine that fascinates with a wonderful sweetness-acidity play. Gewürztraminer at its best.
