Info
Part of the Grüner Veltliner Hefeabzug is filled without filtration. The Saahs family of the winery therefore strongly recommends shaking this wine sensitively before drinking. This recommendation can also be found on the label.
Color
Slightly cloudy straw yellow, delicate green reflections
Nose
In the first impression, the naturally cloudy Zwickl leaves nuances of fresh as well as fermented ginger, nasal pear and a little anise. Freshly cut grapes, a little lemon balm and marjoram. Fennel and mirabelle plum also show up. Of course, the Zwickl is marked by a dominant yeasty note. Also sourdough and roasted almonds would be to be mentioned here.
Palate
Racy and playful, it opens the pleasure. Yeasty and discreetly creamy, it spreads on the palate. Green accents enliven the moment with freshness. A well-integrated acidity breaks up the mouthfeel again and again and provides swirls. Hints of ginger and anise linger in the finish. Elegant and delicate, this quaffable drink clearly makes you want more.
