Info about the wine
Weingebirge is one of the oldest vineyard names in Europe, first mentioned in 511. The soil consists of loam, loess and paragneiss.
Info about the expansion
The wine is produced without the addition of sugar, enzymes, flavour enhancers and
Pure cultured yeasts fermented exclusively with the grape's own natural yeast and drawn into the bottle after half a year of storage in large, old wooden barrels on a fruit day.
Color
Dense golden yellow with delicate creamy reflections.
Nose
The 2020 Grüner Veltliner Im Weingebirge Federspiel presents itself with an intense nose reminiscent of orange zest, crumbly apple, quince, firm pear, dried flowers, Laos ginger and aniseed. A hint of bread crust, pepper, delicate cedar wood and light tobacco notes perfectly round off its beautiful aroma.
Palate
On the palate, it surprises with elegance and lively freshness. Juicy and distinctive, it still shows itself very youthful as it flows over the tongue. Its pure juiciness, which comes to the fore with sufficient oxygen in the long finish, promotes its phenomenal drinking flow.
