Color
A luminous, bright gold brings brilliance to the glass.
Nose
The Neuburger 2021 from Nikolaihof opens with a floral and fruity bouquet characterised by abundant juiciness. On the nose, one encounters a contrasting mix: apricots, rhubarb and citrus zest meet ripe pear and subtle ginger notes. A slightly nutty note sits alongside it, surrounded by a sea of flowers and bunches of herbs. An inviting fragrance that makes you want to take the first sip.
Palate
The yellow fruitiness teases the tongue, complemented by a fine acidity. The resulting tension on the palate is youthful, with a hint of grip and subtly spiced. An elegant drop with character, from a truly distinctive grape variety, which harmoniously complements and enhances any accompanied dish.
Food recommendations
A lukewarm salad of egg and avocado with a tahini and honey dressing. A roast of chicken and sweet potato accompanied by peas, cashews and sun-dried tomatoes. A soft hard cheese nestled among edible flowers and wild herbs.
