Nose
In the nose, a still life next to the chaise longue, a kidney-shaped table with a cup of fresh Darjeeling tea and lemon and a small plate of dried fruit with apricots, cucumbers and currants made from nutmeg grapes. A bouquet of dried flowers, depicted for aesthetic reasons only, interacts aromatically with the mixture; light spicy notes of mace and white pepper in the top note complete the painting.
Mouth
The extract-sweet, friable fruit is outlined by the fine-grained tannins that give it its elegant feel and tart contour. The 2019 Gemischter Satz from Hajszan-Neumann flows calmly over the palate with a warm character, viscous with a delicate yeasty melt, it is animatingly tart as well as refreshing and invigorating at the same time, the aromatics of the blended set always in aromatic balance.
