Location and soil
Mareit Leiten at 350 m above sea level, a very steep, south-facing slope with extreme sun exposure and warm gravel soils with moraine deposits. Vogelleiten and Panholzer with loamy limestone gravel soil.
Expansion
The destemmed grape berries remained in the press for twelve hours for maceration in order to extract aroma and structure from the grape skins. Fermentation took place in wooden barrels and steel tanks, mostly spontaneously with the grape's own yeasts. Aroma and flavour were refined during the five months of ageing on the fine lees.
Color
Sparkling, light yellow with green reflections.
Nose
Fragrant and seductive, the 2021 Moscato Giallo flows out of the glass. Bright yellow fruits meet mace, blossom honey and jasmine. Citrusy hints of lime, grapefruit and ginger give it a refreshing touch. You immediately feel like tasting this wine.
Palate
Pure freshness on the palate, it seems almost floating. The bright, juicy fruit pairs with invigorating acidity and fine piquancy, which makes it seem all the more stimulating. Top summer wine and aperitif!
