Color
The wine shows itself in bright lemon yellow with silvery reflexes clear and shining in the glass.
Nose
The fragrant splendor of this golden muscatel from Caldaro shows itself loaded with fruit and throwing around entire aromatic spectrums like bumper cars on parade. On a fruity trampoline of Charentais melon, blood orange and ripe grapefruit, as well as quince and mango, several floral aromas do their somersaults joyfully. Blossoms of lavender, thyme and begonia, as well as marigolds and peonies, combine to create a perfume of aromatic richness.
Palate
On the palate, the sumptuous aromatics are spun onward and the somersaults higher. Forward, as backward, doubled and screwed, the wine rushes through the throat and fills it with joy. With bang and fanfare, Manincor's 2019 Moscato Giallo shows all that this aromatic varietal has to offer. A delicate strand of acidity balances out that fragrance, which also only suggests aromatic, but is fortunately not confirmed by sweetness on the palate.
