Information

Teroldego from the Morei site in Campo Rotaliano, Mezzolombardo, grown on 2.5 hectares of alluvial alluvium. The Morei site is protected from cold north winds by nearby, abruptly rising rock faces. The rock stores heat during the day, which radiates onto the vineyard at night. The soil here is very stony, therefore relatively warm, dense, dark, mineral, and like the wine of the same name, the Morei Teroldegoreflects him. The wine was eight

Matured for months in Spanish cellar amphorae, so-called Tinajas.

Nose

From the pair of brothers Morei and Sgarzon is the Morei always the darker and also darker fruity wine, as the name already says. In the rather cool looking vintage, notes of red and blue fruit appear in the bouquet, each of which carries a shaken amount of acidity. With a little more warmth from the outside, the warm inner notes then become perceptible. Licorice mingles with the fruit, sun-warmed undergrowth and a little clay and stone.

Palate

On the palate, the wine shows the wonderful tension and sandpaper-like tannin of red wines from the amphora. The Morei is grippy and transparent with fresh, distinctive tannin, lively acidity and the same red and blue fruit that created excitement on the nose. This young Morei one may, no, one should allow a time in the carafe before enjoying it.
