Nose
The 2019 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo shows a beautiful earthy depth that is cloaked in distinct cherry and berry fruit. Its floral perfume, reminiscent of wild roses and violets, gives it a beautiful feminine touch. Already in the nose one recognizes a mineral depth, which one rarely encounters in such a pleasant price range.
Palate
Spicy and refreshing, it appears on the tongue and is at the same time berry charming. Fine-grained tannin meets invigorating acidity and you get with each sip desire for another. A perfect drinking wine with a fantastic price/value ratio and a wonderful food companion.
