Nose
The 2018 Minimalist smells of ripe apricots, ripe mango, apple and quince compote, with fragrant elderberry and rose petals and hints of lily of the valley, as well as fresh ginger and lemon balm. An extremely exciting and multi-layered fragrance under a dense carpet reminiscent of wine yeast. Already in the nose it is clear that oxygen suits this wine extremely well.
Palate
Fascinating is this freshness and the truly minimalist and puristic structure, which inspires the drinking flow very nicely also because of the moderate alcohol. Lots of mellow fruit, notes of anise and liquorice and the fine tannin - that's what makes orange fun. And the cuisine that immediately comes to my mind does not necessarily have to be minimalist, but rather very diverse and exciting.
