The founding of Domaine Darviot-Perrin is not all that far back. To be precise, it was in 1989 that Didier Darviot and his wife Geneviève, née Perrin, decided to do their own thing. It helped them immensely that Geneviève brought a number of excellent parcels of land into the marriage. The two of them divided the vineyard according to their parents' houses Winery and white wine cellar are in Meursault, house and red wine cellar in Monthèlie. The winery quickly gained a very good reputation due to the high percentage of old vines and meticulous vineyard work. In 2019, their son Pierre-Antonin decided to put aside his career at the Foreign Office to continue running the winery, something his parents could no longer do on their own. He went straight into organic certification. The wines are mainly from Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet.
