Nose
This Vin de France, whose Gamay fruit comes from the Beaujolais, is a great fun wine. This is already suggested by the label with the two Men in Bret. It is a wine that should give pleasure and be drunk in large gulps. The silky, ripe sweet cherry and forest fruit, the minimal touch of volatile acidity and the fine notes of cinnamon and tonka bean encourage this.
Palate
On the palate, the wine runs and runs down the throat, if you let it. It is a charmer with a silky texture and a sensual ripe yet fresh red and dark fruit that is also accompanied by sweet spices on the palate. This is Glou-Glou from people who know exactly what they are doing and with the Men in Bret uncomplicated yet sophisticated drinking pleasure.
