Meinklang is a family-run Demeter farm in Pamhagen in the Seewinkel region on eastern Lake Neusiedl. The circular farming system includes cattle farming for their own manure as well as fruit and wine growing.
The White Mulatschak in 2021 is a cuvée of Pinot Gris, Traminer and Welchschriesling and was fermented spontaneously in steel. It sees itself more as a wine than as a white wine with a clearly defined field of activity. Well chilled with a snack or with dear friends, what is fun multiplies, and so the White Mulatschak is a clear case for set theory.
Color
bright rose with orange reflections and silky opacity.
Nose
The nose of the 2021 White Mulatschak by Meinklang oscillates between fruit, herbs and flowers. Small cherries and berry fruits mingle with freshly mown summer meadow, while rose hips, hollyhocks and mallow blossoms shine in the top notes.
Mouth
Tidy and clear, it is both refreshing and invigorating when drunk, and is seriously uncomplicated. Its goal is to be tasted, not to be a proseminar, but a shirt-sleeved lesson in pure fun in the glass - and that at every opportunity. Juicy, fragrant, sloppy - a clear drinking command!
