Color
Strawberry-coloured, orange and light reflexes, restrained mousseux, fine perlage.
Nose
Besides the rosé-obligatory notes of redcurrants, raspberries, strawberries and cherries, Shaman 18 is excitingly unusual. Rosehip, red fruit tea and rooibos are loudly represented. Orange blossom, camomile and a little orange zest also complement this. Hibiscus and almond give it a very coordinated spiciness. The yeast leaves a moderating and soft character as well as connecting the elements.
Palate
On the nose, the Shaman Rosé already shows Benoit Marguet's few demands on his sparkling wines. A soft tannin, some bite and a structured acidity provide the framework. Lean and racy. Very long on the palate. Yeast and mousseux provide only limited melting. The acidity shapes it in perfect balance. Pure minerality and sparseness. The fruit emerges unobtrusively again in the finish. Especially rosehip and fruit tea are noticeable.
