Nose
Unpack the lounger by the pool and the suntan lotion, the 2020 Sole e Vento has arrived. Summer, that is also the scent we think of when we smell into the glass. Aromas of pineapple, ripe mango, oranges and distinct orange and elder blossom - it immediately puts you in a holiday mood. But it is by no means a fruit-driven drop; it also shows the finest notes of fennel herb, Mediterranean herbs, mussel shell and aniseed.
Palate
Juicy, drinkable and charming, it hits the tongue with a beautiful fruit sweetness accompanied by a fine tart citrus note. Spicy and refreshing, a wine to drink solo in rough quantities, which you can do without remorse at 11.5 Vol%. Top also as a companion to fruity and aromatic summer cuisine.
