Sparkling wine info
100 percent Grillo from 30-year-old vines, grown in Contrada Samperi near Marsala.
Info about the expansion
Cool pre-fermentation, then direct, gentle pressing of the whole grapes. Fermentation of the grapes 80% in stainless steel and 20% in oak barrels. Tirage is done with Grillo sweet must. Maturation sur lattes for at least 18 months. Minimum sulphur dosage of5 mg/l.
Color/Look
Cloudy golden yellow with delicate green inclusions, fine bubbly mousseux.
Nose
The nose of the Terzavia Brut Nature is exceptionally complex and fine. Short yellow apple, underpinned by fragrant blossoms, yeast, honey and a little vanilla foam combine with a distinct smoky note, sea breeze and mussel shells. The more air it gets, the more complex it becomes.
Palate
Juicy, almost a little quaffable, despite the low dosage, with stimulating, creamy and charming perlage, it spoils the palate with delicately iodine and fine spicy inclusions. An extremely stimulating companion to drink. Its spicy aftertaste whets the appetite for small delicacies in the form of antipasti.
