Info about the wine
The Cattaratto grapes come from vines over 15 years old, grown on sandy loam, in western Sicily in the Trapani region.
Info about the expansion
The grapes were harvested by hand at the beginning of September, gently pressed, the clear must fermented with wild yeasts at controlled temperature and with minimal addition of sulphur for 7 months in stainless steel tanks, on its own yeast.
Color
Medium golden yellow with silvery reflections.
Nose
The 2021 Lucido smells of lime peel, grapefruit, artichoke, fennel, liquorice, rosemary, thyme and mussel shells. An extremely complex and multifaceted white wine that shines with a lot of freshness, density and minerality and captivates the taster already in the nose.
Palate
Salty, compact with lots of citrus fruit and freshness, it attacks the palate in the most pleasant way. The acidity is present, the impression on the palate is powerful, complex and long-lasting. The saliva flows, the appetite is awakened and whoever drinks this wine may be happy!
