Color
Brilliant golden yellow with clear amber reflections.
Nose
The 2011 Mâcon-Vinzelles X Taste smells intensely of forest honey, sweet and ripe mango, quince bread, candied pineapple and ginger. Some forest floor and tree bark, as well as fresh boxwood skillfully round off its spectacular scent.
Palate
Oily with fresh acidity and distinct sweetness, the 2011 Mâcon-Vinzelles X Taste runs over the tongue. Its skilful use of wood is reminiscent of caramelised almonds and freshly ground Kampot pepper. In the long finish, an extremely animating ginger spiciness is noticeable.
