Sparkling lemon yellow, green reflections
Nose
The 2020 Riesling from Mugler combines fruity and herbal nuances very well on the nose. Lemon balm, mint, chervil and sage are clearly and distinctly recognisable. Green and yellow apples stand up well to the herbs. Lemon juice, lemon zest and a little peach add the final touch to the nose. Ginger and candied pineapple are also subtly discernible.
Palate
On the palate, it seamlessly follows on from the expectations gained. Tangy, straightforward and juicy. With high astringency, it provides a well stimulated salivation. This makes you want more and ensures a high drinking tempo. The juiciness is always ingeniously complemented by acid peaks. Very high fun factor. The green, herbal aromas now clearly dominate the taste picture. Added to this is a slight stoniness and a whole mild spiciness.
