Les Poëte

The Les Poëte vineyard, founded by Guillaume Sorbe, covers 17 hectares in the Reuilly appellation in the Centre Loire. Of these, 6.45 hectares are planted with vines and the wines are praised by La Revue du Vin de France as top products of the Centre Loire.

Guillaume Sorbe from the Les Poete vineyard

Les Poëte stands for biodiversity and ecology. Besides the vines, horses, sheep, bees and chickens are part of the ecosystem. The vineyards are spread over 28 plots, including varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc.

In Guillaume's cellar, special emphasis is placed on the individual vinification of each parcel. Many wines mature in stainless steel, while others, such as Le S des Poëte and Pouilly-Fumé, are aged in tank and barrel. A highlight is the Pinot Noir, which is fermented as a whole bunch and shows the only wood imprint in the range.

The wines from Les Poëte are consistently sensual, powerful and full of character. Le S des Poëte exudes sensuality, the Pouilly-Fumé impresses with its intensity, and the Odyssée, a Pinot Noir, shows the impressive potential of this grape variety in the region.
