Color/Look:
Light to medium sparkling golden yellow/broad and lively mousseux.
Nose:
The 2016r Champagne "Cuvée Les Chênes" from Georges Laval presents itself on the nose with fine fruit reminiscent of green apples and citrus, accompanied by floral and charming notes reminiscent of elderflower, acacia blossom and brioche. A breath cedar wood and orange zest round the animating aroma spectrum skillfully.
Palate:
On the tongue, the "Cuvée Les Chênes" confirms the fresh impressions of the nose with a fine fruit sweetness in combination with a very stimulating mousseux. Even though it is completely without dosage, a pleasant sweet-sour impression is created on the tongue, which is accompanied by a fine, salty minerality. Its extremely beguiling finish is rich, long and encourages another glass. It virtually calls to round it off with fine cuisine.
