As early as the 18th century, Domaine Lejeune was founded in Pommard, where shortly afterwards it took up residence in the historic buildings of the former confraternity Saint Sacrement found. With François Jullien de Pommerol, the winery gained a very good reputation. Today, Aubert Lefas puts the icing on the cake. He combines a very classic vinification with organic farming, adapted harvest times and a focus on finesse and liveliness. This is particularly important in Pommard and makes a decisive difference to the often rather archaic or rustic wines of the appellation. With Aubert Lefas, there is no sign of this. His wines are among the finest in the appellation.

Color

Straw yellow with light green reflections

Nose

The Chardonnay is fresh and lively from the start. The nose does not show any reduction, rather fresh and also friable or ripe apples, abate pears with yellow and green citric notes, which are accompanied by a fine wood that brings vanilla and fresh hazelnuts. There are also dry herbs and a hint of hay.

Palate

On the palate the Les Mosnières On a mineral foundation with a slight flash of flint, an agile and powerful acid structure emerges, which carries the wine into the impressively long finish. It lines the palate, together with a pleasantly discreet creaminess. Here, too, the fruit moves between pome fruit and citrus notes, elegant wood and nuts. For its price range and youth, the wine is remarkably long and structured, full and at the same time easy to drink.
