Color

Quince yellow with light copper reflections.

Nose

The 2002 Clos de Bourg Moelleux of the Domaine Huet already makes a thick pants in the nose. Acacia honey and light tobacco, beeswax and quince bread, dried tangerine peel and figs are complemented by an almost balsamic, fine spice, reminiscent of white pepper with lemony-cedary top notes. The saliva shoots in immediately and lets hastily refill.

Mouth

With a distinct sweetness on the nose, it has a viscous feel and flows silky like honey across the palate. The fine spiciness of the botrytis shows after some time in the glass, the ripe acidity is delicate and playful. With slightly tart phenolics, it is creamy with high extract and immense inner tension. Multilayered and long in the fruity spicy finish. Comfort Wine par excellence.
