Designation of the wine:
In the heart of Vertus, the Chardonnay estate produces Latitude, a masterpiece from the gentler and warmer slopes. The elegance of this wine rests in its ability to bring together the quintessence of up to six different vintages. With a patient ageing of 24 months sur lattes, the Latitude is uncorked and perfected with a four gram dosage.

Colour characteristics:
A vibrant shade of lemon yellow catches the eye, accompanied by a vital, large-beaded mousseux.

Fragrance spectrum:
The Blanc de Blancs from Vertus presents itself bright, clear and with a refined spiciness. The first impression leaves notes of lime and citrus, paired with delicate memories of white strawberry flavours. But it is the herbs and a subtly bitter tonic water note that create a unique fragrance performance.

Taste impressions:
Noticeable on the palate, the cool chalk soils deliver a distinctly precise, crystal clear and pure wine. The Latitude shows here that it is the flagship Blanc de Blancs from this region. But besides its precision, there is also a lushness in the taste - a warm nuance that can be traced back to the sunny location of Vertus.

Food recommendations:
Start the culinary experience with crispy puff pastry snacks filled with ripe brie, followed by a fresh citrus carpaccio with tuna tartare. For the main course, a succulent chicken in white wine sauce on a side of brioche.
