Color/Look
Sparkling pink, with delicate violet reflections. Fine bubbly and broad mousseux.
Nose
The 2016 Alta Alella Privat Brut Nature Rosé Gran Reserva smells of sour cherries, raspberries, woodruff, wild roses and red currants. In addition to the extremely fresh and delicately sweet fruit, Mediterranean herbs and smoky hints emerge from the glass, accompanied by mineral notes and the scent of freshly ground white pepper.
Palate
On the palate it presents itself with juicy and berry fruit, accompanied by Mediterranean herbs like rosemary and thyme. Besides the fruity and herbal notes, the peppery notes are very present on the palate. This makes it a great companion to spicy dishes. A rosé sparkling wine off the mainstream!
