Color
Light lemon yellow, fine mousseux.
Nose
Loud and striking on the nose. Plums, currants and white currants deliver an unusual combination of aromas. Creamy cake and burnt meringue. Toasted hazelnuts, pecans and green walnuts make for a pleasantly nutty appearance. Ripe pear, caramelised quince and candied zest provide freshness and liveliness. Tangerine skin, orange, bergamot and lemons round this off successfully.
Palate
On the palate, it is directly full on. Clear, linear and precise. The minerality comes into its own perfectly. It is as precise as a laser. The acidity underlines this elegant, sparse champagne in a well-dosed and successful way. It appears taut and does not show any unnecessary gram of fat. Elegant, timeless and above all very contemporary, it shows origin and character at the same time. The aromas of the nose reappear in their light and slender form in the reverberation. First and foremost, the aromas of citrus fruits and ginger.
