Info about the wine
The Verdejo grapes come from an old vineyard in La Seca, planted with 30 year old vines. The terroir consists of gravel. After careful hand harvesting, the grapes are pressed by gravity and then aged for 6 months on the lees in steel tanks.
Color
Bright yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
The 2019 La Pasajera shows the typical animating Verdejo aromas of green apple, lime, gooseberry and fresh herbs. Elegance and finesse are lent by yeasty nuances and hints of hay and aniseed.
Palate
A wine with substance and depth. It flows smoothly and gently over the tongue, with juicy fruit and great spice. An absolute all-rounder that can be used wonderfully with a wide variety of dishes.
