Info about the wine
Cuvée of Pinot Blanc 57 %, Chardonnay 30 %, Sauvignon Blanc 13 %. The grapes come from our own younger vineyards in Mareit as well as from suppliers who also work biodynamically and are certified organic.
Info about the expansion
The destemmed grape berries remained in the press for six hours for maceration to extract aroma and structure from the grape skins. Fermentation took place partly in oak barrels and partly in steel tanks, spontaneously with the grape's own yeasts. During the six months of ageing on the fine lees, the aroma and flavour refined.
Color
Bright yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
On the nose, the 2021 La Manina is fragrant and elegant. Delicate fruity aromas of quince, pear and honeydew melon combine with blossom honey and a hint of anise. Already on the nose, this wine suggests the scent of a summer meadow that is just beginning to blossom.
Palate
It also offers summer freshness on the tongue. Refreshing fruit is paired with fine acidity and stimulating piquancy. Juicy, it glides over the tongue and leaves a salty and mineral trace. A wine of which one likes to drink a glass more, especially in warmer temperatures, pure drinking pleasure, the perfect companion to dishes with a fresh impression and aroma.
