Artist's edition designed by Nikolai Makarov in a limited edition. The edition includes a lithograph signed by the artist, the distillate Eau-De-Vie d'Alsace Poire William by Jean-Paul Metté with a specially designed artist's label and a wooden box with branding. Nikolai Makarov loves round shapes, as we find them again and again in his nudes and other motifs. He therefore chose the juicy round Williams pear, which awakens the desire for more. Nikolai Makarov is an internationally celebrated artist. His paintings can be found in museums and private collections in Russia, Europe and the USA. Born in Moscow, he now lives alternately in Berlin and New York. He was a master student at the Academy of Arts with Prof. Werner Klemke in Berlin and made several study trips to Vienna to Prof. Rudolf Hausner, one of the co-founders of the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism. A crowning achievement of his career to date was the large solo exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow in 2009.
