Info about the wine
The VDP.GUTSWEINE are a meticulous selection of grapes grown in the vineyards along the Rhine. Five different wine villages, five different soil types have given rise to the Latin term QVINTERRA.® inspired. The estate wines are harvested by hand, strictly selected, spontaneously fermented, aged in large old double barrels and stainless steel tanks and finally left "sur lie" until well into spring.
Color
Brilliant golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose
The 2021 Qvinterra Pinot Gris shows itself typically with apple and walnut notes and at the same time with clear exoticism of mango, ripe pineapple, lime and kumquat peel. An extremely juicy and animating bouquet that immediately tempts you to enjoy it.
Palate
Juiciness and exoticism also define its flavour, infused with fine acidity, a mineral trace and a subtle tart note in the finish that immediately whets the appetite for another glass and the accompaniment of tasty cuisine.
