Muted, elegant garnet red
Nose
On the nose, the 2017 Pinot Noir SR from Klaus Vorgrimmler is elegant and beautifully matured. Fleshy fruit of cranberries, figs, cherries and wild raspberries meet forest leaves and tree bark, a hint of graphite and wood smoke. The maturity suits it extraordinarily well, already in the nose it suggests freshness and liveliness in combination with its maturity.
Palate
This impression is beautifully confirmed on the palate, lively and fresh it floats over the tongue, perfectly matured tannin, the acidity present and at the same time ripe. This Pinot dances and convinces in the finish with saltiness and a clear mineral trace. A fantastic price-value ratio is revealed to us here, Burgundy sends its regards - wonderful what Klaus Vorgrimmler has conjured up on the bottle.
