Nose
To be classified as basically tart. Discreet yeasty nuances. Especially bitter almonds, grapefruit, orange and mandarin. Orange peel and tangerine skin provide additional bitter notes. Nettle, camomile, shortbread and buttered brioche. Pecans and roasted hazelnuts join this flood of aromas. On the nose, there is hardly any sweetness. It lives much more from freshness and fruit. Dried mango, yellow apples, khaki and dried fruit. Mace blossom and rooibos tea give it the final touch.
Palate
2009 Harslevlü Lapis is initially full-bodied and dense on the palate. The sweetness is pleasant and restrained on the palate. It is punctuated by stony and mineral accents. The acidity also shows itself elementary in this Kiralyudvar. The acidity cleans up on the palate and makes way for its polished character. A slightly creamy component combines the individual parts into a total work of art. Clear viscosity is evident and it seems similar to a nut butter in its umami level.
