Nose
The 2020 Vino Naranja is based on Garnacha and small portions of white grape varieties. A maceration period of two months leaves its mark on the colour and nose. Rooibos tea, red fruit tea and rose hip pulp are the dominant parts at the beginning. Tangerine peel and orange peel next to candied zest provide bittersweet associations. At the same time, they set off immense bursts of freshness. Blossoms from orange trees give it a delicate character. Fresh almonds, red and white pepper bring the necessary spice into play. With patience, green walnuts, dates and figs can be discovered.
Palate
On the palate, it seamlessly continues the impressions gained. Tart as well as fruity-sweet accents have a rendezvous. The bitter and sweet flavours are known to work very well together. A fine tannin supports it. The fresh aromas and the active acid peaks repeatedly set vitalising accents. A fine minerality contributes to the overall experience. The nutty character comes to life in the aftertaste without seeming heavy-handed. Orange in all its facets, from blossom to peel and flesh, clearly characterise the reverberation.
