Color:
The wine shows a pale magenta colour with bright copper reflections clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose:
With the fresh aromas of pink grapefruit and thus inviting to the summer porch, this rosé is no child of sadness. In addition, watermelon, as well as mango and ripe apricots bring fruit in concentrated form to the glass. Far from standing alone, however, this has fleur de sel and peppermill on hand for much needed spice. Notes of white pepper, basil and a touch of cinnamon give the wine a strengthening aromatic backbone.
Palate:
Uncomplicated drinking pleasure. Playful and juicy, the 2019 Il Corzanello Rosato from Fattoria Corzano e Paterno stands for life-affirming wine enjoyment. With all this red-fruited light-footedness, it nevertheless remains a wine to be taken seriously from top to toe. Its moderate yet driving acidity gives it vitality and puts it in balance.
It is a reconciling wine that wants nothing more than to bring people together.
