Color:
Light yellow with a silver fading rim.
Nose:
The 2016 Iglesia Vella from Domaine Roc des Anges, made from 100% Grenache Gris, is a child of its origins on the nose: aromas of citrus, oyster shells, Mediterranean herbs and scrubland form a unique blend that is crystal clear about Roussillon. Multi-layered and in constant change, it oscillates between fruit, herbal spice and wet stone and announces a slender, saline drink.
Mouth:
Focused and wiry on the nose with high extract and vibrant vibrancy. Grown on vines over 80 years old, it has razor-sharp precision with fine acidity and firm minerality. Salty and mouth watering like a great Chablis, this is undoubtedly one of the great white wines of Roussillon. A wine that develops effortlessly over several days. Large glasses are a must.
