Nose
A rather classic nose that stands for the origin. Exotic fruits such as mango, passion fruit and banana appear in pleasant doses in the glass. Elderflower syrup provides floral and sweet moments at the same time. Plenty of mirabelle plum and apricot spread out in the glass. In addition to the fresh fruit, delicate hints of dried fruit can also be perceived. Orange zest provides a mix of tart and sour. Mint spreads in a cool, ethereal way. Turmeric brings an oriental touch into play. Acacia honey provides a mellowing note. The nose is quite loud and multi-layered, but never bold, but harmonious and inviting.
Palate
The Wiener gemischter Satz reveals an astonishing amount of structure and character on the palate. It is characterised by a pleasant tannin. On the palate, it is full-bodied and expansive. It presents plenty of tart components, which also resemble fine herbal extracts or green tea in their tannin. The acidity packs a punch and pushes forward with pressure. A delicate melt enchants the palate at the back. The nuances of the exotic fruit disappear almost completely. A restrained herbal spiciness joins white flowers and the charismatic, oriental spiciness.
