Info about the wine
Gemischter Satz from the Nussberg vineyards Gollin, Obere Schoß and Weisleiten and the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Weißburgunder, Welschriesling and Muskateller.
Color
Iridescent light golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
The 2020 Wiener Gemischter Satz Nussberg beguiles with fresh apple, pear and quince, a sea of fragrant flowers, grasses and hay. With a little oxygen, rhubarb and lime zest join in. The stony, smoky minerality is omnipresent and already sets striking accents in the nose.
Palate
Fresh attack on the palate, liveliness in the form of acidity and fresh fruit spreads. A very complex, multi-faceted white wine with a lot of play and power at the same time. A wine that serves the food and will be remembered. Spectacular price-value ratio!
Be sure to decant and enjoy not too cold from a larger Burgundy glass.
