Color
Dark cherry red, violet reflections
Nose
The cuvée of Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon appears lush and loud in fruit. Blackberries, figs, cassis, elderberries and raspberries are clearly defined. Lilac and violets counteract this florally. White pepper, coconut shavings and a little vanilla add delicate scent marks. Tomato and beetroot provide vegetal accents. Cigar box, tobacco and warm leather form the final chord.
Palate
The palate is juicy and very well balanced. The opulent fruit experiences plenty of headwind from a silky mouthfeel and proper acid pressure. It seems almost crisp and filigree. Habla la Tierra presents itself cool and characterised by minerality. Herbal freshness and a lot of finesse liven it up. In the aftertaste, the dark nuances of the nose come to the fore again.
