Info
It is widely unknown that Spain is the second highest country in Europe after Switzerland. The central plateau stretches far and wide. Many growing areas have nothing in common with the hot holiday region. Extremadura in the west of the country also has a hot but temperate climate. The soils on slate, sand and limestone marl are poor and there is a dry climate.
The Habla del Silencio cuvée consists of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.
Color
Bright cherry red
Nose
The first impression of the 2018 Habla del Silencio is very harmonious. Next to a concentrated plum, there are black and sour cherries. Elderberries and blackberries as well as some liquorice complete this dark impression. Mediterranean traits of pine forests and black olives as well as some thyme can be perceived in the glass.
Palate
On the palate it then grabs powerfully. Full-bodied, but also provided with cool and taut qualities, it creates an exciting alternating bath. The dark impression of the nose is fully met. Acidity is essential for the longevity of all grape varieties in this cuvée and is also present here. For all its power and concentration, the Habla del Silencio appears cool and clear. This richness of facets makes the wine enormously exciting.
