Color
The wine shows itself in rich shining golden yellow clear and shining in the glass.
Nose
With its first scent, this herbaceous Wachauer seems introverted at first. With the rising scent of spruce shoots, it is more at home in the realms of wooded areas than in magnificent orchard meadows.
Extract-strongly and, nevertheless, very exactly he gives himself in his smell. Ripe avocado and yellow fruity characters in the form of persimmon, grapefruit and crisp pear are spicy underpinned by the aromas of white Muntok pepper and cardamom. With a little time in the glass, these combine to create an exemplary sensory harmony.
Palate
The coherent clarity of the aroma of the 2018 Grüner Veltliner Ried Schön by Martin Muthenthaler continues in its harmony, both meticulously and unagitatedly. Power and body tension, however, are by no means compromised, which gives the wine a wonderfully paradoxical discrepancy. In itself balanced resting enrich delicately vibrating acidity and a fine bitterness along with pronounced fruit with sparse echo by drinking joyful train on the palate.
