Color:
Intense, muted golden yellow with mahogany reflections.
Nose:
The 2019 Pinot Gris from Meinklang delights me every time I smell it: this juicy, pure fruit of apple, quince and vineyard peach combined with countless fresh herbs and meadow flowers, rounded off by the ethereal hints of juniper and sage - a real feast for the senses!
Palate:
It floods the palate with immense freshness and a minerality and saltiness that provokes in the most pleasant way. Juicy fruit meets stimulating acidity and tannin structure and you literally dive into it. This is how Pinot Gris simply gives great pleasure. Even if you could drink it just like that, there are an incredible number of dishes that you would like to combine with this drop with the spectacular price-pleasure ratio.
