Info

Toreldego Rotaliano from various old vineyards in pergola training in the Campo Rotaliano. The vineyards are characterized by alluvial alluvium with sand and gravel and limestone, granite and porphyry weathered rock. The grapes come from a total of four hectares. They are fermented spontaneously in large open wooden fermenters and aged in wood for 15 months.

Nose

The dark fruit is mainly driven by plums, blackberries and elderberries. A light note of clove and cinnamon spreads in the background. Also some leather and juniper as well as violets can be discovered. The floral aromas definitely increase in the glass and line the Granato wonderfully. Only very discreetly roasted aromas and cedar can be attested. But above all, a nuance of tangerine skin shapes this dark-fruited moment in the background. This promises a tart and sour spectacle.

Palate

And then he finally reveals his whole ability here. Powerful and provided with a fine-grained tannin, it knows how to present itself as a Foradori, however, and lives above all from a cool elegance. The Teroldego shows itself racy and marked by spicy notes. The dark fruits are now clearly lighter and not even concentrated. The acidity gives the wine a decent pressure and plenty of finesse. In the aftertaste, the floral, violet notes echo wonderfully.

The foothills of the Alps leave behind a cool-seeming wine that scores points not for concentration or power, but for endurance.
