Wine information
Grown on loess and Danube gravel, bottled in April 2021.
Color
Bright, radiant golden yellow with green reflexes.
Nose
The 2020 Gelber Muskateller reveals itself wonderfully fragrant, especially if you have already kept it opened in the fridge two days before tasting. Myriad aromas of fresh grapes, apricot, mandarin, orange flesh and zest combine with floral fragrance of lemongrass, geranium, lime blossom and chamomile. Ginger, coriander and aniseed notes contribute another facet. An extremely complex and beguiling prelude.
Palate
On the tongue, it opens with a fine minerality and spiciness accompanied by juicy fruit. Its exoticism paired with its multi-faceted structure, opulent fruit and spicy notes make it a fantastic food companion, especially with dishes characterised by fruity and spicy components.
