Info about the wine
The wines from the "Fuori" series are always the most outstanding of the respective vintage. Wines rich in finesse in quantitatively small quantities.
Info about the situation
Volcanic origin with a lot of quartzite slate, loamy, sandy soil, relatively shallow.
Info about the expansion
Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel for one week, 10 days, ageing for 12 months on the fine lees in used wooden barrels, bottling without filtration and fining, 42 months bottle ageing.
Color
Muted purple with mahogany rims.
Nose
The 2017 Fuori MMXVII is a blast of sweet berries, black cherries, truffles, wood smoke, fine dark chocolate, all wrapped in an earthy and mineral depth that is second to none. This is the great art of creating biodynamic wines with such an animating fragrance that you can hardly wait to taste.
Palate
On the tongue, too, one is virtually enraptured, dense, sweet fruit, a salty mineral carpet, the finest tannins and an invigorating acidity make it a wonderfully animating red wine to drink, best enjoyed chilled from a large glass. Intense dishes of South Tyrolean cuisine love its accompaniment. Very good ageing potential!
