Nose
Dense and concentrated, the Fincas de Ganuza. Even the entry wine of this emblematic winery is already a powerful declaration of Fernando Remírez de Ganuza's style. The concentrated juice of highly ripe cassis, blueberries and blackberries combines in all its sweet-ripe fullness with vanilla, cedar and light tobacco, almost as if one had a Late Bottled Vintage Port in the glass.
Palate
On the palate, the wine is even more concentrated, balanced and absolutely elegant. Dark ripe fruit on a carpet of present, but gentle tannin, a fine acidity that runs through the expansive wine and keeps the freshness. All this is a result of special winemaking skills. Fernando Remírez de Ganuza is known for turning every possible adjustment screw to make his wines even finer and more perfect from year to year. The Fincas de Ganuza is the impressive result.
