Nose

On the nose, it spreads an incredibly dense and intense fruit that is unparalleled. Cinnamon plums are the dominant part. But blackberry, raspberry, cassis, barberry and elderberry also come to the fore in a very balanced way. The fruit is totally harmonious and wonderfully inviting. Warm leather as well as dark chocolate, nougat and roasted coffee beans set off spicy and dark scent marks. The roasted aromas, however, absorb the fruit in the best possible way. Violets and hibiscus additionally smooth the waves. A hint of coconut and fig add a light touch. Earthy beetroot and dried thyme round it off.

Palate

The harmony of the nose is also transmitted directly from the first sip. Velvety and elegant, it flows over the palate. The Tempranillo knows how to play wonderfully with the gripping acidity, which comes on powerfully. This makes it juicy and fleshy at the same time. The tannin is beautiful and small-pored, literally melting away on the palate while holding the fruit together for a long time and providing it with a pleasantly tart tone. With all the fruit and juiciness, one almost overlooks its linear, stony features. Racy and demanding. On the other hand, it is also wonderfully easy to understand and uncomplicated. The absolute contrast to a cerebral wine. A wonderfully successful example of this classic.
