Info about the wine
A site in a side valley, but downstream from the Moselle in the Enkirch district, grey slate.
Info about the expansion
The healthy grapes were harvested at a high level of ripeness, maceration for approx. 18 hours, ageing in fuder barrels and storage on full lees until bottling in April.
Color
Light golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose
The 2019 Enkircher Steffensberg Riesling from Weiser-Künstler has a charming yellow-fruited appearance and smells of ripe vineyard peach, mirabelle plum, apple sauce and honey. With the necessary oxygen, the mineral depth of this wine emerges more and more.
Palate
Precise and dry, it hits the tongue with vibrating acidity. Its complex acidity seems to explode, the yellow fruits beguile the palate and its long finish calls for more of this perfect and harmonious toast!
Recommendation
Be sure to decant, tastes even better after 2 days of opening!
