Color
Dark ruby red with a violet edge and black core.
Nose
The complex and layered nose of the 2016 Duemani shows concentrated, dense fruit of black cherries, plums, mulberries and rose hips. Spicy counterpointed by black olives, sandalwood, juniper and allspice, it is grounded in its deep fruit and superbly balanced. This Cabernet Franc proves once again that the grape variety has also found an adequate habitat in southern Tuscany.
Mouth
On the palate it is uncompromising Extremely taut and straightforward on the nose, it leaves no question unanswered and quickly shows in which direction it goes here Forward. The tannins are tight, dense and fully mature and dress it in the finest velvet, the acidity elegantly coated. Rich with a silky feel and expansive shoulders, it combines power and finesse with the typical Cabernet Franc nature.
