About the wine
A cuvée of around 75 % Auxerrois and 25 % Pinot Blanc from several plots around Wettolsheim with marly limestone and gravel.
Color
Light golden yellow with delicate green reflections
Nose
The 2020 Pinot Blanc Auxerrois is juicy and fruity on the nose with notes of quince, pear, apple and peach. A scent of acacia and lime blossom and a little lemon and anise accompany the fruit.
Palate
On the palate, the white wine appears creamy and silky, charming and seductive with a silky smooth acidity and a fine spiciness. What the wine lacks in acidity is fully compensated by a fine, slightly electrifying minerality, making it seem fresh and lively.
